Mexico Report 2022

Mexico Report 2022

Due to the pandemia, the programme for 2022 was held only during the 2nd semester in 2022, during the months of September, October and November.  The amount of coaching per week was 2 hours, 4 days per week. There was no contact made with the children via virtual platforms because the children stayed at home and do not possess equipment for virtual contact.

Nutrition, health through sport and discouraging the use of harmful substances are achieved through talks and daily guidelines, encouraging and checking that kids consume healthy foods before and after sessions. Punctuality is ensured with transport, allowing just 5 minutes and then the bus leaves. Fair play and respect:  the rules are learned through the Code of Conduct and by having the kids call their own lines and everything that happens on their side of the court and by giving the opponent the benefit of the doubt. Through this, the kids acquire good sportsmanship. Respect for all persons involved in the programme and good behaviour and discipline are mandatory. In the very few cases rules are broken, a written report is issued, warning the infractor next time he/she will be sanctioned.
