Our Mission
WTEF’s mission is to build life champions. We give children and youth a safe environment they trust, where they can excel. We empower them to achieve their highest potential by developing meaningful values and critical skills that lead them to life-long success. We do this through a pathway of continual academic, life skills and tennis instruction during after-school and summer camp hours.

The Academy
WTEF offers tennis programming for youth and adults with a priority on serving youth within underserved communities. We offer programming at two locations as well as outreach programming at over 10 schools within Washington, DC. Programming includes Tiny Tots and Development and Performance for youth ages 4 to 18. https://www.wtef.org/

Summary of 2023 activities

WTEF launched the ICP in February 2023, through its Center for Excellence (CFE) Program.

Cultural exchange programme with ICP Uruguay

The Washington Tennis & Education Foundation (WTEF) was partnered with ICP Uruguay for the 2023-2024 school year, with cultural exchanges starting in October.
