A special day of tennis at La Bisbal

A special day of tennis at La Bisbal

On April 3, the Club Esportiu La Bisbal organized an inclusive tennis day coinciding with the WTA125 Solgirones. Two tennis players from the Catalan Federation of Sports for People with Intellectual Disabilities (ACELL), Raquel Grados and Alberto Ordaz, showcased their skills in an exhibition doubles match alongside their coaches. They also had the chance to share the court with students who experienced playing in a wheelchair.

Fifth and sixth grade students from Joan Margarit and Cor de Maria schools, along with first-year ESO students from INS La Bisbal, participated in this special wheelchair tennis session.

The event highlighted the organization's ongoing commitment to inclusive sports and demonstrated that sport transcends boundaries, serving as a powerful tool for all individuals.
