The ‘Tennis to Grow' programme restarts! Our "Tennis to grow" programme 2021 was returning to a certain new normality. Schools and sports clubs were closed from mid march until mid may 2021 And we are now restarting all "live" activities. During this last period, from March until May, we developed two important activities: 1. The Junior Ambassadors and Coach produced new educational and motivational videos for the kids to keep them active and engaged at home. The videos were sent to the schools, through their teachers. 2. IC Uruguay - food donations Donation of food baskets for the families of kids participating in the programme (and others) were distributed through the schools teachers and directors. It was a great teamwork of our IC Board members and our programme management. In total there were 312 Food Baskets, distributed among the neediest four schools, including the school for blind and a group of families of wheelchair sports participants. The whole activity generated by the IC Uruguay and the programme, was very welcome by the families and the schools directors, and also by the Ministry of sports who participated in the delivery in one school.
