The program is managed in Barcelona by former two-time French Open champion, Sergi Bruguera, in co-sponsorship with Catalan Tennis Federation and Acell Federation. Over 50 people with learning disabilities receive regular tennis coaching and undergo a life skills program. Three different groups train every week in different areas of Catalonia. This program offers year-round sports training and an opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, have fun and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families. The sports and leisure activities boost selfconfidence and skills; the players create new social connections and feel integrated into the community.
