ICP is supporting a new programme, the Murlpirrmarra Connection

The Murlpirrmarra Connection IC Philanthropy Tennis Program is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to improve the wellbeing of young Indigenous students (aged 12-18) in the remote regions of Western Australia working across a range of communities.

Murlpirrmarra, a Martu word, means ‘To Make Strong, To Make Confident, To Empower.’

The programme provides Indigenous young people with assistance towards education, sporting pathways, health and rehabilitation, developmental programs and employment. It acts on the request of families and work in collaboration with a range of key service providers including local community, local organisations, schools, Aboriginal Medical Services and Police, as required.
